In this edition you get a single-player campaign, a separate “sealed play” campaign where you can build your own decks, 10 puzzle challenges, online multiplayer for up to four magicians, and a player profile that tracks all sorts of stats like most used mana color, win count, and titles earned - all for ten bucks. That is an extreme oversimplification, though, as the vast amount of card types and modifiers allow for many different strategies and tactics. Basically, you play head-to-head against an opponent and attempt to whittle their 20 hit points down to zero by summoning monsters and casting spells.
Magic 2014 (the fourth in the series) follows all the same rules as the real-world version.
